Background RCD has developed Project Management and Information System (PMIS) with the help of NIC, Patna for integrated online monitoring of all its projects. PMIS is web-enabled IT- application which can be used for online integrated monitoring and management of projects under the department. This will enable real time monitoring of physical and financial achievement of the projects. This application will also help in timely execution of the projects.

The physical progress project can be updated through this mobile app on real time. Mobile app is integrated to the PMIS application and its basic database also developed by NIC, Patna . This Mobile app can help in real time update of physical progress of projects by sending pictorial view of ongoing progress from working site. Progress on real time can be updated from remotest areas. At the same time linear values of physical progress can also be sent through this mobile app. This pictorial data will be directly available on Google map or the GIS map developed by RCD.

Home page of PMIS application will be appear as shown in the picture. TO DOWNLOAD MOBILE APP Type URL onlineapp.bih.nic.in/RCDPMIS in mobile browser like Google Chrome and proceed. Home page of PMIS application will be appear as shown in the picture. Click on the link “Download Android Application” at the top of this PMIS web login page. A “rcd.apk” mobile app is ready to download in mobile showing instruction that “This type file can harm your device. Do you want to keep rcd.apk anyway. Click OK button. Download and install, ICON of RCD mobile app will appear in your mobile screen.

Homepage of app is displayed showing enter user name and password. Corresponding division can login by getting their user login and password from Headquarter, RCD. Click login after entering user name and password as shown in figure.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT After entering user name and password this will shown as in figure. Click on Login

It displays user name with division. This page will be displayed after login It displays user name with division. Click “Sync Master Data” first to download any pre requisites data of app. Click on “New entry Icon for a fresh entry.

Select Road type in which a new entry is to be made. After New entry Icon is clicked, a page is displayed in which Road Type is to be selected such as MDR, SH and NH Select Road type in which a new entry is to be made.

Select and click on the Road project in which entry is to be made. After selecting Road Type, the details of road projects are fetched from the server as shown. Select and click on the Road project in which entry is to be made. For eg. Click on Turki Chowk (NH-77) to Saraiya Chowk (NH-102) CMBD.

After clicking on road project, this page is displayed showing Project ID – 50, Project Name, Road Name, Head Name and other useful details. Now , click proceed button.

After clicking on proceed button, a detail of physical progress is to be filled (as linear values) under following boxes. The physical progress details have to be filled such as E/W, GSB, WBM/WMM, BUSG, BM, DBM, Prime Coat, Tack Coat, SDBC/BC/PMC, PCC, DLC, PQC, CD work and Comments.

In select CD type drop down box, there are some fields such as others, HP, RCC Culvert, Box Culvert and Bridge.

If 'others' as CD type selected then in project ID – 50, some details are filled namely as shown in figure.

After Entering Details Click proceed button. If ‘Bridge' as CD type selected then in project ID – 50, some details are filled namely as shown in figure. After Entering Details Click proceed button.

Select appropriate photo type. After clicking proceed, 'Photo type' dropdown list box is shown in which photo types for designated items of work is being available for uploading photos. Select appropriate photo type.

For example, BM type photo selected. After selecting BM as a photo type, click “1 or 2" ICON for uploading maximum 2 photos.

After clicking on 1 icon, image of the place will be shown with Latitude and Longitude. Click on “Take Photo”.

Similarly click on “2 ICON” option and the rest process is same. It is seen that the image of “1 ICON” is shown with Latitude and Longitude along with date and Time. Similarly click on “2 ICON” option and the rest process is same. Click save button.

After clicking save button, this page will be displayed in which pending uploads option showing 1.

Click on upload to server button/icon. After clicking save button, this page will be displayed in which pending uploads option showing 1. Click on upload to server button/icon.

Finally a dialogue box will be displayed “ Do you want to upload all pending to the server ? “ . Select ‘Yes’. Data is saved and sent to server.

After sent pending uploads to server, pending upload will appear showing " Pending Uploads - o ”.
