Science/Social Studies: We are focusing on the Leader In Me 7 Habits. Our focus for October will be Begin With the End in Mind (which is all about making a plan and setting goals for yourself). Message from Ms. Allen Please make sure you are practicing letters, letter sounds, and sight words EVERY NIGHT with your child. These are very important skills your children need in order to succeed in Kindergarten and in order to move on to higher level skills. Also, please make sure your child completes the homework assignments each night. Reading/Literacy We will be focusing on characters of story, character traits of a person (character in a story), and setting of a story.
