Using our hands to help others
We started writing in our kindergarten journals and the kids are all doing a wonderful job! We learned how to set up our page with the date, a picture, and a simple sentence. We wrote a sentence about ourselves to get the journal started last week and this week we created unique pumpkins after reading the story Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Ask your child to tell you all about the story.
We will celebrate Halloween on Wednesday, please be sure to read the Halloween letter from Dr. Parker for information regarding the parade and party. Please have your child wear standard clothes to school and pack their costume. We will begin to put on costumes at 10 and parents who have ed me are welcome to come help children get ready. Parents who have signed up to help with the party can follow the class back inside after the parade and begin setting up.
Next week we will have more autumn fun with scarecrows, squirrels and harvest time!
