How to write a letter of application? 1. Why do you write this letter? Including how you heard about this job. 2. what are your qualification? Your education, relevant work experience, skills, languages and so on. 3.Say you are very interested in the job and the reasons, and describe how you meet the requirements 4.Enclosure Your CV ,photo, copy of degree, diploma, other certificates. 5. Complete the letter express your looking forward to hearing from the company and sign your name.

Writing I’m writing with reference to your ad. for a Production Secretary in the Guardian of 23 July 2001. I graduated from Madrid University in 1994 with a degree in Modern European languages. My full job was as a support secretary for the Training Director of a company which ran courses for software designers and IT managers. Since 1996 I have been working as a bilingual secretary for a large international publishing company.

I am very interested in the position because I would like to use my languages. I am enthusiastic about working for a TV company and feel that I have the flexibility, motivation and communication skills you require. Please find enclosed my curriculum vitae and a photo. I look forward to hearing from you.

Tips for interview 1. Be well prepared before the interview. Find out about the company Practice how to answer questions possibly to be asked by the interviewer Prepare some questions to ask the company and the job details Make sure you know in advance exactly where the interview is to take place. Take a pen Take your school and college certificates with you and other useful testimonials you may have.

2 Give the first good impression Wear smart ,formal clothes Have a haircut and bath one day before it. Arrive a few minutes early Don’t smoke Sit up straight Be polite Give clear answer to each question — avoid just answering YES or NO. If you don’t know how to answer a question, don’t pretend. Look straight at the interviewer

3 Show your best side Show your best side and your strengths: mature, energetic, enthusiastic, professional , cooperative, efficient, well-organized, well-educated, friendly, confident and so on don’t stress your shortcomings

4 Do not forget At the end of the interview, Say you are eager to become a member of the company. Thank the company for the chance. Ask when you can be informed about the result.

What makes a qualified interviewer ? 1.Good manners 2.be professional in conducting an interview 3.Ask suitable (related , relevant ) questions 4. Be clear about the requirements for the job/post 5.Well-prepared for the interview 6.be just, fair and rational 7.Have professional or technical knowledge 8.Be friendly to the candidates

Do you agree? 1.Make sure that you are not interrupted or phoned during the interview. 2.Read the candidate’s CV and application letter before the interview 3.Ask the candidate why he/she keeps changing jobs 4.Ask each candidate the same key questions. 5..Make sure you have a clear picture of the nature of the job. 6.Decide on a maximum of 4 key qualities required for the job. 7.Only trust a candidate who looks straight in your eye.? Eye contact 8.Trust your first impression. ? 9.Let the candidate feel relaxed. 10Avoid talking too much yourself.

How to deal with Hard questions 1.For hard questions you ‘d better be well prepared before the interview and when asked some unexpected questions ,you should be calm and think out a reasonable answer . 2.“Being honest” doesn’t mean “tell others everything you think of, you know or you have done”.
