Geography A Level Geography is highly valued by universities as an A Level choice. The Russell Group Universities names geography as one of the eight facilitating subjects. This is a subject most likely to be required or preferred for entry to degree courses and choosing facilitating subjects will keep more options open to you at university. We are one of the largest and most successful courses at Toot Hill College Geography links very well with other courses, it has a transferable set of skills that can assist pupils in all their areas of study

There has never been a more important time to study geography. With growing importance in issues such as climate change, migration, environmental degradation and social cohesion, geography is one of the most relevant courses you could choose to study. Geographers are also highly employable. Whatever your passion for the world - fascination with landscapes or concerns about inequality - geography will provide you with knowledge and transferable skills that will reward you personally and advance you professionally.
