Scheduling Information Night – Feb. 13 Class of 2018 - Senior Class of 2019 - Junior Class of 2020 - Sophomore

Graduation Requirements Class of 2018, 2019 and 2020* STANDARD DIPLOMA HONORS DIPLOMA 4 Credits- Bible, Math (Alg. II), English 3 Credits- SS(World History ½ credit, U.S. History, Gov’t, Econ.) 3 Credits -Science (Biology, and a Physical Science) 1 Credit- Fine Arts ½ Credit- PE, Health, Computer, Research 4 additional elective credits; totaling 25 credits Total 8 credits of Math and Science 2 Credits of Fine Arts 3 Credits of Foreign Language (or 2 credits/2) 1 additional Credit in Core Class(Eng., Math, Sci., SS or Fine Art) 1 Credit- Computer ½ credit- Speech/Debate 3.75+ GPA or ACT 27 or SAT 1120 *Class of 2020 and Beyond 1 Social Studies credit

Testing TESTING: SPRING 2017 End of Course Exams (EOC) March 14: ELA I & ELA II April 25: Algebra 1 and Geometry ACT ASPIRE – (9th Required) April 4, 5, and 6 2017 (ACT Practice) PSAT Test- Oct. 11, 2017. Required for Juniors, Soph. can elect to take for $15 fee. (SAT Practice) ACT: April 19 - Juniors (State funded) Registered 10th/12th AP Exams: May, 2018 – AP Calculus AB and AP Physics

2017-18 Scheduling Next Steps 1. Discuss with parents class choices based upon career aspirations. (utilize: Education.ohio.gov/CareerConnections) 2. Pencil in classes you would like to take following the required classes on your credit tracker. 3. Any honors or CCP courses must be approved by appropriate teacher. Department Chairs will share this approved google document list with Guidance Office. 4. Be prepared to schedule 2017-18 classes online through Renweb by the 2nd-3rd week in March. 5. Guidance Office will email detailed Renweb online schedule instructions. 6. Scheduling Questions: Ask teachers, guidance office or submit email to: scheduling@cincinnatichristian.org
