Welcome Packet From A-State You will receive an I-20 along with an acceptance letter from A-State congratulating you for being admitted. AState.edu /ArkansasState @ArkansasState

Pay SEVIS I-901 Fee Pay your SEVIS fee online. Access the website by following the link below: https://www.fmjfee.com/ Keep a note of your SEVIS ID which is printed on the upper right section of the I-20 document. It starts with a “N” AState.edu /ArkansasState @ArkansasState

Complete the Online Visa Application Form Complete the online non immigrant visa application form (DS-160) available on the link provided below: https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/default.aspx AState.edu /ArkansasState @ArkansasState

Pay Visa Fee As per the U.S. visa service process, visa fee can be paid in the following ways: 1. Online banking/Mobile banking 2. Cash payment at banks. NOTE: Before going to the bank, you must obtain/print a U.S. visa fee collection slip from your online application profile. Keep the receipt you will receive from the bank after the payment. Schedule an Interview You can schedule your visa interview with the US embassy or consulate. When your visa is approved, you may also have to pay a visa issuance fee, if applicable to your nationality.  AState.edu /ArkansasState @ArkansasState

Questions about University choice How many colleges did you apply to? How many schools did you get admitted to? How many schools rejected you? Have you been to the U.S. before? Questions about your academic capability What are your test scores (GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS)? What was your previous GPA? How will you manage the cultural and educational differences in the U.S.? How good is your English? Why do you want to pursue a degree in the U.S.? Why not study in Canada, Australia or the U.K.? what do you know about U.S. schools? Questions about your financial status What is your monthly income? What is your sponsor’s annual income? How do you plan to fund the entire duration of your education? How much does your school cost? Questions about your Post-Grad plans Do you have relatives or friends currently in the U.S.? What are your plans post-graduation?
