The Application Process When Your Decision is Received You will be notified about your decision normally within the timeframe published by UKVI. If you have made the application within the UK then it may take up to 8 weeks to receive a decision.timeframe If a decision is made to grant you a Tier 4 visa the you will normally receive the following: A temporary visa pasted into your Passport. Registration and collecting your Biometric Residency Permit (BRP) You can nominate a local Post Office branch or the University of Salford. If you wish to collect your BRP from the University you will need to select the “Alternative Location” option on the online visa application and enter the following code: 2HE637 If you are collecting your BRP from the University, you will not be able to collect it unless you have completed your registration in full. Dependent BRPs must be delivered to the Post Office – these cannot be delivered to the University.
