Project Plan - Plan Analyze Design Develop Test Implement Maintain The College Cottage system is a internet based application that allows the Cottage College a place to display their products to consumers. The Collage Cottage (owners) gives a place for customers (consumers) to buy products. It begins by having the customers enter their location. They can either search or browse products that are listed on the website. Products include furniture, room décor, etc. If the customer is interested in the product they can then select the product and put it in the “Wagon” (checkout cart). Payment will be prompted where the customer must pay for the products. For the Collage Cottage to be successful, payment, search, and browsing options need to be at a prime level. Specific Functional Requirements: Display Enter Search/Browse Select Pay Design Develop Test Implement Maintain

Project Plan - Plan Analyze Design Develop Test Implement Maintain Specific Non-Functional Requirement: The semester is coming to a close thus, an operational Internet-based application must be delivered by June 1, 2017 before the new school year begins. The following milestones will enable this deadline to be met. Analyze Design May 7 – Product inventory list complete May 13 – Process and Database Models Completed for website May 18 – Prototype of website created and Beta tested May 25 – Fixing of any errors and bugs completed June 1 – Final design of website with no errors or bugs completed Develop Economic feasibility: A cost-benefit analysis will be done to see if the costs of the Collage Cottage can be easily covered when the website benefits students (consumers) at the same rate. Having low price products will attract customers and having an association with the universities across the country will help lower costs. An analysis will be done to help determine if the association with the universities and the low cost of products will attract customers to the website enough to help cover the costs of the project. Schedule feasibility: A schedule feasibility will be performed to see if the timeline is an accurate representation of when the Collage Cottage system will be ready to go. It is important to make sure the website is running perfectly before the new school starts and at a time that allows for people that are moving in to new homes soon have access to our website. To perform this analysis, the actions taken need to have a reasonable amount of time which include extra time in case it takes longer than ‘planned.’ Test Implement Maintain

Implementation Plan Analyze Design Develop Test Implement Maintain Supplier/Employee Training Training will occur for the employees of College Cottage to help the website launch run as smoothly as possible. There will be training for employees will include thorough instruction of how the website is designed and how the website works. This will ensure that if customers have questions that our staff will have the knowledge to answer them. Also, there will be training to our suppliers to ensure that our products always have enough to suite our customers needs. Our suppliers will be notified when products are running low and the training that will be held will help them to know how to put more products where they need to go. User Documentation There will be a user manual that customers can access at the bottom of the page that will walk customers through the step-by-step process of using the College Cottage website efficiently. Customers will also have the ability to email or call a staff member of College Cottage with any questions they may have. This would be found in the 'Contact Us' category.  Implementation  Online training will be completed by every College Cottage employee. Each employee will have a deadline for when the training needs to be completed. This will ensure that the employees will have the knowledge they need to launch the website.  Analyze Design Develop Test Implement Maintain

Plan Maintenance – (involves performing changes, corrections, additions and upgrades to ensure the system continues to meet the business goals) To maintain the website, there will be weekly corrective maintenance for any problems that might occur. If it is a serious issue, there will be corrective maintenance done as soon as possible. Preventative maintenance will be done on a monthly basis to make changes that will reduce the chance for future problems. Perfective maintenance will be done the entire first month after the launch of the website. This will ensure that the performance of the website is top notch. Adaptive maintenance will be done when the launch occurs and when any major changes to the website occurs.     Maintenance Schedule (first month) June 1- Adaptive Maintenance done June 1-July 1- Perfective Maintenance done June 2- Corrective Maintenance June 9- Corrective Maintenance June 15- Preventative Maintenance  June 16- Corrective Maintenance June 23- Corrective Maintenance June 30- Corrective Maintenance Analyze Design Develop Test Implement Maintain
