Friday Folders Will be given out every Friday. Students will put all their handouts into the folder to be taken home. Parents should look over the assignments and sign the folder to show that they had seen it. Any assessment with a grade lower than a C- should be signed and returned in the folder. Pen Code for graded assignments: Test (T): Graded in Red pen Quiz (QU): Graded in Green pen Classwork (CW): graded in Blue pen

Homework: Make up work: Behavior Will be given everyday. Checked for completion Will start each marking period with 100 points for homework. With every missed assignment, 6 points will be taken off the 100 points. If you complete the homework for the next day (at home, not at school) then you can receive up to 3 points back. Student Slip Policy MISSING HOMEWORK SLIP = (- 6 POINTS off homework grade; 3 points will be given to students who makeup missing homework) INCOMPLETE HOMEWORK SLIP = (- 3 POINTS off homework grade) TALKING/INAPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR SLIP = (- 5 POINTS off class work grade) UNPREPARED FOR CLASS SLIP = (- 2 POINTS off class work grade)

Break down of grades (MATH)  Tests: 40% Quizzes: 30% Homework: 10% Class work: 10% Projects: 10% Tests: Will be at the end of each Math In Focus chapter and worth the most amount of points. It will focus on the overall information covered from the whole chapter. Will be announced ahead of time. Quizzes: Will be more frequent then tests and will be within chapters. It will focus on more specific skills and concepts within the chapter. Will be announced ahead of time. ***** A Show What You Know could be either a test or quiz grade! Classwork: Graded class work will be announced the day the work is assigned. Homework: Will be given everyday. Will start each marking period with 100 points for homework.
