Foreign Language Survey This Power Point is for my 7th period class. They are a really cute class as well and will work hard for you. There is a student on a tracker that needs to be signed at the end of each class. If she has completed it, please sign it and give her a treat. Her name is Lizzy Warriner. Warm up Choose 5 famous Britons and write a sentence about who they were/are and what they did. Do not copy word for word from you paper. Have the students open their notebooks and do the warm up writing activity. Give them about 5 minutes to complete this activity. Then using the sticks on my white table up front select 5 of them to share what they wrote about one of the famous britons. Then go to the next slide.

The Royal Family Read the section about the Royal Family and complete exercises 19 and 20. Have the students read about the Royal Family and do the exercises on that page. You can choose to read it as a class if you wish. Once they have the answers written have them share what they wrote on exercise 19 with their tables, then correct exercise 20. Go to the next slide.

Revision Do the activities on the Revision page. Get with a partner and check your answers. Have them complete the last page the Revision. Once that is completed go ahead and correct it. They can use their packet to find their answers if need be. Remind them that they will have a test next class period on Great Britain. Then go to the next slide and play the review game.

Review Great Britain Bingo game You have a Bingo card in front of you. In the History column write 5 historical facts. In Exploring and Colonization Column write 5 facts or important people about that. In the Industrial Revolution column write 5 facts, people or vocabulary that was important in the Industrial Revolution. In the Attractions column: Write 5 attractions. In the Famous Britons Column: Write the name of 5 Famous Britons. Listen as the teacher describes the ítem, then put an X through the correct answer on your paper. When you have a Bingo. Say Bingo and give the correct answers to the teacher. Pass out the Bingo card and have them follow the directions to label their Bingo cards. Then using the yellow packet on my desk. Read a descriptions without telling them exactly what it is and have them find and mark the answer on their Bingo cards. When they get a Bingo have them read their answers to you and you can give them a dumb dumb, which is in my front closet. I won’t leave them out as Candy seems to get stolen. Then if you have time start again. You can have them change the way they mark things or fill out a new card. I will have enough cards for 2 rounds. Thanks again.
