Science Starter: Turn in any signed forms to the white tray on Mrs. Hinds Desk. Mrs. Hinds will collect the lab in just a few minutes. Have General Information Workbook out and ready to go! 3 Measurement Stations Your GOAL: TO complete 3 of the stations
1 must be either Explore it #1 (Station 7) or Explore it #2 (Station 8) 1 must be either Write it (Station 4) or Research it (Station 2) or Watch it (Station 1) 1 must be either Assess it (Station 6) or Read it (Station 3) or Organize it (Station 5) Instructions are in each station box. Remember to read the task cards and answer all questions in your workbook. If you have not finished your Google Classroom, then we will be calling you to work on this assignment. Station rules…not more than 4 people at a station at time. If a station is full then please move to another station. Please ask your station group members 1st (3 before a teacher…aka Mr. Isaak or Mrs. Hinds). Raise your hand for assistance! If you complete 3 stations, then do another station! Thank you because you ROCK!

Research it Station—Turn to Pg. 9 in your workbook Go to the link for Research it on Mrs. Hinds Homepage Read the paragraphs and answer the questions on pg. 9 Read it Station—Turn to Pg. 9 in your workbook Answer the conversion questions Use the chart to help you Write it Station—Turn to Pg. 8 in your workbook Answer the task cards in complete sentences You may use a dictionary too! Organize it Station—Turn to Pg. 9 in your workbook Match the tools with the correct term and unit. Have Mrs. Hinds, Mr. Isaak or Mrs. Anthony check this for you and sign your workbook Place ALL cards back in the baggie. Assess it Station—Turn to Pg. 9 in your workbook Answer the questions from the assess it cards in your workbook

2. Choose which role you would like to have for your group. Use the yellow sheet for roles and guidance for roles. 3. Answer the question assigned for each group. Group 1—How do you want me to treat you? Group 2– How do you want to treat each other? Group 3—How do you think I want to be treated? Group 4– How will we handle violations of the contract? 4. Each group needs to come up with 3-5 words to answer the question A. You must be able to describe what the words/phrases will Look like Sound like 5. Debrief as a class
