PROMOTIONAL REQUEST Use this form to: Get your event on the PTAC calendar and set up online registration Request marketing materials (flyers, banners, etc.) for council-level events Request social media promotion for council-level events Print Request form also available through this form or can be accessed on the marketing page at a later time

PTAC Calendar Process Fill out the Promotional Request form with all fields needed to build your event

Mandatory fields to get your event on the calendar (including just Save the Dates): -Name of event - including district if applicable -Date -Description of event -Calendar placement Check the box at the bottom if you’d like a copy of your submission, then click submit Mary Demski will set up the event in our registration system, called Black Pug, and placed in “draft” mode. Mary will send an email with the draft event link to the DE and lead volunteer for review Once they approve, the event will go live Mary will send the live link to the DE and lead volunteer along with instructions on how to access and monitor the event’s registrations and pull reports.

Newsletter Submission Form Use this form to: Submit content to the PTAC and/or Community e-newsletters Check the boxes of the applicable newsletters Once content is submitted to a particular newsletter, it will stay in that publication until the event or its registration date/submission date has passed Council Newsletter is sent on or around the 1st of every month content due no later than the 25th of the previous month Community Newsletters are sent around the 15th of every month content due no later than the 5th of every month

Social Media /PathwayToAdventure @PathwayBSA @PTACBoyScouts These are the only three official PTAC social media sites. You can request to have a major council event/activity promoted on these social platforms by checking the social media box on the Promotional Request Form and providing suggested text and images. The Marketing and Communications department will determine the best timing for the post.
