What’s the difference between a job specification and a personal statement?

Job description and person specification JD: what you’ll be doing in the job (forms part of your contract) PS: what they are looking for (forms the basis of your application)

Job description and person specification JD Teaching pupils according to their educational needs including the setting and marking of their work. Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils. PS Evidence of a successful teaching practice with more than one year group. What’s the Employer thinking? Who are you? Why do you want this job? Why should we give you this job? Four bullet points Stand up, shake hands and introduce yourself!
