LIFESTYLE is the key to Wellness! Wellness is an overall state of well-being, or total health To take responsibility of your own health Life is full of choices--- you make the choice, but unfortunately you cannot choose the consequence of that choice. LIFESTYLE is the key to Wellness!

HEALTH A STATE OF PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL, MENTAL, AND SPRITUAL WELLBEING, AND NOT JUST THE ABSENCE OF ILLNESS. How are you?

PHYSICAL HEALTH The way the parts and systems of the body work together. How well does your body function? To gain and maintain physical health you need to have good nutrition, regular exercise, enough sleep and rest, good hygiene, regular doctor and dentist checkups, and abstinences from harmful substances.

EMOTIONAL HEALTH How you react to events in your life. Feelings about yourself (self-esteem) Being in touch with your feelings and expressing them in appropriate ways. (Love) Dealing with problems and frustrations of life without being overwhelmed by them. (Stress)

SOCIAL HEALTH The way you interact with other people. Family Peers Friends Coworkers Communicating well and showing respect for yourself and other people.

MENTAL HEALTH State of being comfortable with yourself, with others, and with your surroundings. Calls for a person to use their mind to develop thinking skills. Person with good mental health enjoys learning, strives for new information and understanding, and sees mistakes as an opportunity to learn, grow, and change.
