Pier Partial GMP Proposal for Marine Structural June 1, 2017

New St. Petersburg Pier Partial GMP Amendment for Marine Structural City Council Action – June 1, 2017 Approve a Partial Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal for the Marine Structural work in the amount of $17,579,847 Authorize execution of Second Amendment to CMAR Agreement to incorporate the Partial GMP proposal for Marine Work to Skanska Contract Add insurance requirements and other provisions to Contract Approve a supplemental appropriation of $700,000 for construction of the seawall associated with the Pier project Future City Council Action Accept a Final GMP proposal which combines the partial GMP for the Marine Structural ($17,579,847) with the Partial GMP for the balance of the work (estimated at $17,253,993) for a Final estimated GMP of $34,833,840

New St. Petersburg Pier Partial GMP Amendment for Marine Structural July 9, 2015 City Council approved a CMAR Agreement with Skanska for preconstruction and construction services for the new Pier Pre-construction phase fee: $490,000 Based on approval of GMP Amendment, Skanska would construct new Pier Pier Construction Cost Budget was established at $33,660,000 March 2, 2017 City Council approved First Amendment to the CMAR Agreement for additional Preconstruction services in the amount of $381,200 Authorized fabrication of 20 test piles and 2 floating pile templates, in order to avoid a potential 60 day delay in construction Requires approval of Partial GMP Amendment for delivery and installation of test piles Increased total preconstruction phase services to $871,200 All work is included within the cost of the construction budget.

New St. Petersburg Pier Partial GMP Amendment for Marine Structural Received Partial GMP Proposal for Marine Structural work on May 17, 2017 in the amount of $17,579,847. Includes the following work: Survey and layout of all piles, deck podium, seawalls including a 3D sonar of bay bottom Pile driving analysis, pile monitoring, site engineering and concrete testing Site mobilization, fencing, security Site demolition, dewatering, import and placement of fill Delivery and installation of 20 test piles, Fabrication, delivery and installation of 409 production piles Forming and pouring 15” cast-in-place concrete deck, beams and walls over water Installing sheet pile seawall, tie-backs and structural bracing Forming and pouring retaining wall and foundations for east side of Tilted Lawn Sleeves and raceways for fire protection piping, plumbing, HVAC and electrical utilities
