 Thoroughly analyze the text you are reading.  Directly quote or paraphrase source material from the text to complete the poster.  Use proper grammar and conventions when writing.  Use illustrations to communicate important information.

 Write the title of the text and the author’s name.  Create a visual that represents the main message or theme of the story.  Summarize the major events in the story.  Explain the main conflict in the story.  Provide three literary devices the author uses in the story.  List the main protagonists and antagonists. Provide a brief description for each of the main characters

You will need to reread parts of your text and come to some agreements. You need to agree on the following.  What is the central message or theme of the story?  What visual would best represent the theme of the story?  What are the major plot points in the story?  What type of literary devices does the writer use?  What is the main conflict in the story?  Who are the main characters?
