TREES’ RECORDS IN POLAND The highest, the oldest, the widest…

The highest tree The spruce in the Backwoods of Białowieża is the highest tree in Poland. It is 51,8 metres high and 323 centimeters wide.

The oldest tree The yew-tree in Henryków Lubański is the oldest tree in Poland. Its age is estimated at 1260 years.

The widest tree In Leszno, in an old park of Karpinek, there is the widest tree in Poland. It is a poplar and it is 11,20 meters wide and 1,3 metres high.

The biggest tree In Buczyna Szprotawska there is the biggest oak called Chrobry. Acorns of this tree are called the Pope’s Acorns because they were hallowed by John Paul II.
