Eastlands Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Assembly 2 Survey Results

Thank you to everyone for completing the school survey. Today we are here to talk to you about the results.

Together as a team, we looked at what you thought about bullying. Let’s have a look at the positives first!

70% of children have never experienced bullying.

100% of children would tell someone or try to help if they saw someone being bullied. Of those children who have experienced bullying 90% told someone Who would you tell?

97% of children say they have never bullied anyone.

90% of children feel that our school takes bullying seriously

We do need to do something though because our survey shows us that some children feel that bullying is happening

Some children feel that they are being bullied verbally. ?v=Wr2qJZlJ0vk ?v=Wr2qJZlJ0vk

Verbal bullying includes... Being called names, inappropriate language, discriminatory language, swearing and teasing

When people use verbal bullying towards others, the most common feelings of children are sadness and anger. These are uncomfortable feelings.
