6. Bullying is not tolerated at our school. The committee seeks to look out for others and ensure that all children are safe and happy at school. Why is this important? We should treat people with respect.

10. The other kids at school, they started calling me names and laughing at me. The teachers never told them to stop it, so I just tried to block it out.

11. It didn’t bother me at first, but then they called me it again and again. Over and over. I thought they were my friends but it’s hard to tell sometimes.

14. What do you see? There are two sides to every story, so when dealing with conflict, it is our job to listen to both sides. We can then take a logical view to help us determine a solution.

15. What do you see? Determining who is right and who is wrong can be difficult. Therefore, a key skill that we will need, when mediating, is listening skills.
