Blanco Glycol cooling system upgrade – Enrique Figueroa report – ACTR DocDB #266 – “A quotation for a 40ton unit has been received; however due to the piping limitations we recommend the purchase and installation of a no larger than 30ton unit.”, seeking quotes. Instrument Maintenance Facility – Brooke to report Repair/upgrade 4m Mirror Coating Chamber – parts being purchased, target for realuminization in 2010B – Now also dependent on circuit breaker repair

Burned out 480A circuit breaker – Sat 13 March Now cannot exceed 225A – no aluminizing chamber, no power for NEWFIRM compressors. Gale is exploring options for a new circuit breaker.

High Priority Projects DECam NEWFIRM TCS Upgrade SAM

ETS ETS Jefes are under instructions to complain if high priority projects are interrupted or delayed by “small” work packages which are slipped into the queue while no-one’s looking. – It’s one thing to ask for help for an hour or two, another thing entirely to distract workers for days at a time. We are going to be under considerable pressure for the next few months and it is important that everyone cooperate and not try to make shortcuts or “end runs”.
