11 Getting Started Ask about green at the development stage
Don’t look for green projects and incorporate them into the campus, but utilize existing projects to forward green thinking Don’t think delay and patch but use projects to promote leadership difference

30 This past summer: Failure of the HVAC system in the North Building;
Mandated sewer separation; Need to repair a crumbling parking lot; We decided to combine projects and “Go Green”!

31 The project: Repair the entire HVAC system in the North Building;
Complete the sewer separation project; Remodel to parking lots; Install a geothermal system to heat and cool the North Building; Create a green space on our campus.

The purpose of the ACUPCC is to exercise leadership in college and university communities and throughout society by modeling ways to minimize global warming emissions, and by providing the knowledge and the educated graduates to achieve climate neutrality. The ACUPCC provides a framework and support for America’s colleges and universities to go climate neutral.
