Breaking Free Getting free from things that hold you back

“Don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. (Ephesians 4:26-27)

We are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

What are these ‘holds’? Foothold = a base of operations/open door Stronghold = a fortification The Process: Neg - emotions Sin Foothold (devil) Stronghold Neg - thinking Neg - life.

What to do about it: Deal with negative emotions  Forgiving others Deal with negative thinking  Truth & lies  Sozo ministry

3 Steps to Your Freedom: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you. (James 4:7-8)
