Quick - Write In your notes, take 5 minutes to write about an incident where you felt you were wronged. How did you feel at the time? How do you feel about the incident now? Be prepared to share out to the class (if you feel comfortable).

Problems Associated with Not Forgiving Others 1.You begin to withdraw which can affect you physically. 2.Holding onto previous hurts poisons all potential relationships 3.Not forgiving keeps you in bondage to the hurt and anger 4.You live behind an emotional safety wall

Forgiveness is… 1.Letting go of the anger and hurt 2.Not about forgetting, but about moving forward 3.Freeing you from the baggage that you’ve been carrying around 4.Giving up the hope that the past could be any different
