Opossum

This animal is characterized by a long, naked tail; a long, pointed snout; opposable thumbs in the hands and feet; and ears that are naked. Most are arboreal and nocturnal.

Ocellated turkey

This Central American species of turkey is quite different from the North American Wild Turkey. Both have a brilliant and iridescent bronze-green plumage. The tail feathers have spots similar to those on a peacock's train feathers.

Coati

The coati is a medium-sized mammal only found on the American continent. The coati is primarily found in dense forests and wet jungles as the coati will spend a great deal of it's life in the safety of the trees. Female coatis live in groups and the male coati is a solitary animal and only comes together with the females to mate.

Flamingo

These are large birds that are identifiable by their long necks, sticklike legs and pink or reddish feathers.

Quail

Although they're known as game birds and some are raised commercially for food, some species also make ideal pets for outdoor aviaries. Quails most generally are characterized by plump, round bodies, somewhat similar to chickens.

Motmot

The Blue-crowned Motmot is a large, long-tailed bird; the tail also has a distinctive "racquet" tip. The plumage generally is green. One of the Blue-crowned Motmot's most distinctive features is a broad, black line or "mask“.

Deer

Deer are the only animals that have antlers. When babies, they have a reddish-brown color covered with white spots. It is an herbivore mammal.

Mexican grackle

This blackbird is hard to ignore due to its boisterous (noisy) nature. The Adult male is entirely black with obvious violet-blue iridescence. Yellow eyes and legs black.

Vulture

Vultures have a deserved reputation as scavengers. Typically large and robust, these unscrupulous creatures play a valuable role in the ecosystem by disposing of animal waste that would otherwise rot and spread disease.
