FETOPEN Scope: Proposals should address only one of the following subtopics: a)FET Communication: raising the visibility and impact of FET through novel and creative approaches for reaching out to various stakeholders and well beyond the research communities b)FET Exchange: actions for structuring and strengthening an emerging FET- relevant science and technology research and innovation topic and the interdisciplinary communities involved in this topic; including but not limited to, research roadmapping, stimulating (formal and informal) learning and exchange Budget: MEUR per project Deadline: 11 May 2016

ECSEL : Key Applications and Essential Technologies Scope: Supports activities aiming at pilot lines, test beds, demonstrators, innovation pilots and zones of full-scale testing Execution by an industrial consortium including universities, institutes, SMEs and large companies Establishment of a new and realistic innovation environment connected with an industrial environment Funding rates: Large enterprises 20%; SMEs 25%; Universities and others 35% Deadline: 24 May 2016 (Project Outline); 20 Sep 2016 (Full Project Proposal)

WIDESPREAD Scope: Supports development of a 12 month action plan to set-up or upgrade a Centre of Excellence in a "Widening" country Teaming involves, in principle, 2 partners: 1)The main applicant organisation (the coordinator) must be established in a "Widening" country (ranked below 70% of the EU27 average of the composite indicator on Research Excellence) 2)A university or research organisation with an international reputation in research and innovation excellence from another MS or AC Budget: 0.4 MEUR Deadline: 11 Nov 2016

SwafS : Participatory research and innovation via Science Shops Scope: supports research centers/institutes/ universities to establish or strengthen science shops demonstrating how students and researchers can assist communities tackle real life problems creates opportunities for twinning, whereby well-established science shops provide guidance to universities keen on setting up new science shops supports joint visits, mutual learning, and the exchange of students and trainers, as well as summer schools. Budget: 3 MEUR Deadline: 30 Aug 2016

COST Open Call Autumn 2016 Scope: Intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in Science and Technology allowing the coordination of nationally-funded research on a European level Supported networking tools include: Training Schools, Workshops & conferences, Short term scietific missions, Dissemination actions, Management meetings Budget: average annual budget of 160 kEUR per project Deadline: 1 Dec 2016

EUREKA Network Projects Scope: Supports transnational, market-driven innovative research and development projects covering all technological areas Encourages international cooperation between businesses, research institutes and higher education institutions. Project must consist of at least two partners from two different EUREKA countries Projects are funded through national agency, with different rules and requirements Budget: depending on national funding agency Deadline: continuously throughout 2016
