Classroom Rules 0 Respect Yourself 0 Never give up 0 Respect your classmates 0 Stand up to bullies 0 Respect your teacher 0 Listen while she is talking 0 Respect your school 0 Clean up your trash

Homework Policy 0 Homework is due EVERYDAY 0 Each page is labeled with a day (ex: Monday) 0 The math is review. The reading will have passages and questions to answer. 0 Reading Log 0 Please have your child fill out the reading log and then bring it back signed everyday.

Parent Signature 0 Please check homework folders every night and initial your child’s reading log. 0 Please write a note if homework could not be completed giving a reason. The student will be on the wall for recess if they don’t bring their homework.

High Expectations 0 I will do my absolute best to teach your child everything they need to know in 3 rd grade. 0 I expect your child to also do their absolute best to learn everything they need to know in 3 rd grade. 0 My expectations for independence are high, however, I give multiple reminders each day on completing assignments on time and turning them in with their Name and Number.

Pride Fridays 0 Strikes (3 strikes your out) 0 Students will receive strikes for: 0 Missing homework 0 Notice of Unacceptable Behavior or Citation 0 Inappropriate behavior in and out of the classroom 0 Pride Fridays 0 These occur every other Friday for 45 minutes. 0 They include fun activities for the students to participate in. 0 Strikes run for two week periods and then start fresh.

Parent Volunteers 0 We would love to have parent involvement in the classroom. 0 To be a volunteer you will have to be fingerprinted. 0 The office has all of the paper work you will need to fill out in order to start volunteering. 0 Only cleared volunteers can attend any field trips we may go on this year. 0 Farm Day is the only tentatively scheduled field trip.

Extras 0 Attendance 0 Come to school everyday! Tardies and leaving early don’t get an award. 0 Communication 0 We are a team. I will do my best to communicate with you, and I ask you do the same.
