Introduction to Artist Introduce artist, their background, where they were born, etc.
A. History of Career Information about artist’s career How they got started, etc.
B. Career Highlights Awards/Honors Peak of their career Etc.
C. Significant Works Include pictures or clips of significant works, after the picture or clip explain why it is significant to the artist’s career (this section might be 2-4 pages long depending on the work).
D. Career Information Include information from Career Cruising: education needed, training needed, average salary, etc.
Conclusion Final thoughts: What you found interesting about this artist/career, new information you learned while studying this artist/career, etc.
Works Cited Can copy and paste from your work cited page – must be formatted correctly!
Reminders: PowerPoint must be at least 8 slides long (including cover slide). I will be grading for no-nos, grammar, spelling, and proper citations – make sure you are doing this correctly! Use backgrounds, pictures, and borders, etc. to make your PowerPoint visually appealing. Must include examples of their work – if they were a singer, must include a clip or lyrics of their song; if they are a visual artist – must include picture of their work, etc.
When you are finished… Print a copy of your powerpoint to submit for grading. To do this, select FILE, PRINT, next to PRINT WHAT select HANDOUTS (6 per page).
