1 History Fair 2018 Annotated Bibliography
Rough Draft due by Friday 11/9/18 5-10 sources cited with proper annotation (final project required at least 15 sources, 10 secondary, 5 primary, 1 paper)

2 Cite your sources in your Noodletools account…

3 For each source add an annotation
For each source add an annotation. Your annotation should be 1-3 sentences long. The annotation explains why you used that source and how it contributes to your project. This is also a good spot to identify the source has primary or secondary – especially if it’s a secondary source that references a primary source.

5 Before you export your annotated bibliography make sure you add a tag specifying the source as either a secondary source or a primary source. This is important because in your annotated bibliography your secondary sources and primary sources must be listed separately. By adding the tag the two will separate automatically.

6 Next, select Print/Export and select Formatting Options…

7 For List Title write in: Annotated Bibliography Then click Set Custom Title

8 For Page Header: Write your last name then click Set Header

9 For Annotation Spacing: Click the second option, Short annotations so start them directly after the source reference (no extra line space)

10 For Include: Click the second option, Print citations and annotations Then click Close

11 Next, select Print/Export then click Print/Export to Word If your word doc doesn’t automatically open to word you might see it at the bottom of your screen, select open from here

12 When your document opens highlight all the text, right click, and select paragraph

13 Next, select the line spacing to Single then click Ok

14 Once your document looks like this you might need to make sure there is a single line space between each citation. Also, don’t forget to skip a line between your title and your first citation like I did!

15 Lastly, save your document with the following file name: Period_Last Name_First Name Example: First_Sellers_Lois Then your rough draft to me at
