Adjectives Lo. To use the term adjective appropriately and understand how they can be converted into different word classes.

WILF I know what an adjective is. I can use adjectives to describe a noun or a pronoun. I understand that some words can have different word classes. I understand that nouns can be turned into adjectives by adding a suffix. I know what a suffix is and can give an example.

A DJECTIVE ? Look at your adjectives. Can any of them be verbs? Underline them. Write a sentence with the word as and adjective and as a verb. The events of World War ii echoed a previous incident in Britain. Echoing blasts crescendoed through the dreary sky.
