The North Korean missile was launched, but crashed in the Pacific Ocean after only two minutes in the air.

I can explain the events surrounding the tragedy in Japan An 8.9 magnitude earthquake happened off the coast of Japan in 2011 causing a tsunami that destroyed many of the coastal cities and creating large amounts of debris. The people were scared to not meet the amount of food they were told to produce so they lied. They ended up not producing food to survive. It resulted by creating massive starvation and depleted their resources.
