10 Communist Revolution - China
First – The Nationalists established the Republic of China in 1912, yet the people soon turned to the Communist Party. Next – The Communists defeated the Nationalists in the civil war, and established the People’s Republic of China. Then – Mao became leader and established a totalitarian dictatorship, enacting policies that led to millions of deaths. Last – After Mao’s death in 1976, China began to implement reforms, leading to economic growth and improving millions of people’s lives.
