Volleyball Vocabulary

Bump (Pass) Use your forearm to properly pass a volleyball to the target.

Overhead Pass (Set) Overhead Pass Video You must use your fingertips, not the palm of your hands to make a correct overhead pass (set) to the hitter.

Spike (Hit) This is where the player must use proper footwork to approach the ball, jump, then spike (hit) the ball with your hand followed with a fast, swift , and powerful arm swing.

Serving Line This is where you stand when you serve the ball.
