Presentation transcript:

What is the difference between growing a big seed and a little seed in soil and a big seed and a little seed on a wet napkin?

Our prediction is that the small seed in the soil will germinate and grow at a faster rate than any of the other seeds.

Seeds (buckwheat and Red clover) Two pots Soil Water Two zip-lock bags Sunlight Green House

We are going to get a pot and put the big and small seeds in the pot with soil. Then we are going to put big seeds and little seeds on a wet napkin in a bag. We will then observe the seeds growth and germination. We first planted the seeds in soil and we water them almost every day. We placed the seeds on two different napkins and spread them out so they could grow. We water them almost everyday.

Red Clover Buck Wheat Buck Wheat Red Clover They did not really grow at all 

Buck Wheat Red Clover Red Clover Buck Wheat They grew much more…

Buck Wheat is used for… Milled into flower which is used largely in pancakes Awesome honey source. Beekeepers plant it for that reason. Our Food Grain
