Recommendations UNEP DTIE is encouraged to continue its Green Customs initiative Mandatory labelling of the ODS- containing products (1272/2008/EC: dangerous to the ozone layer) Periodical leakage checking and qualification requirements for refrigeration technicians Information exchange between relevant NOUs and Cust. Authorities on the transit of ODS and products

Recommendations To prevent export of technology and products operating on the basis of ODS to CEITs and A5 countries UNEP DTIE is requested to stimulate participation of WCO representatives in the customs training process Countries in the region are encouraged to exchange data on export-import of ODS UNEP DTIE is requested to consider establishment of central on-line database where each country could report the cases of illegal trade in ODS Indonesian customs officers inspect a seizure of smuggled CFC cylinders produced in China, Tanjung Priok port, Jakarta, Indonesia, 2004
