Sentence

What is sentence ? The sentence is a group of words that expresses a complete sence of mind. Example –I am doing the work. Birds fly in the sky.

Assertive sentence The sun rises in the east Bird flies in the sky The girls are dancing

Interrogative Sentence Where do you live ? Do you work ? What is your name ?

Work in pairs Group– A: What is Assertive sentence ? Give three examples of it. Group—B : What is Interrogative sentence ? Give three examples of it.

Imperative Sentences Open the door Help the poor Do not make a noise

Optative Sentence May you be a great leader May you be happy May Allah save me

Exclamatory Sentence How nice the bird is ! How nice the scenery is ! What a great elephant it is !
