12 Interrogative Sentence What is this? What is he doing? How is the man walking? How is he reading? The sentence that asks something about a person or thing is called an Interrogative Sentence.

13 Imperative Sentence Close the door. The sentence that expresses order, request, advice, proposal is called an Imperative Sentence.

14 Optative Sentence 1. May you be happy in life. 2. May Allah bless you. 3. May our president live long. 4. Long live our Prime Minister. The sentence that expresses wish or pray is called an Optative Sentence.

15 Exclamatory Sentence How beautiful the pea-cock is! What a nice flower it is! How big the elephant is! How fast the horse runs! The sentence that expresses sudden feelings of mind is called an Exclamatory Sentence.
