Squad Criteria Attend 5 sessions per week Must show willingness and commitment to improving Must be committed to being the best they can be Should target success and County and Regional Level Squad Aims To improve technique on all four strokes To improve race skills (starts/turns/finishes) To develop an effective leg kick To develop speed over a short distance 25-50m To develop a basic aerobic endurance Learn how to get the most out of competitions

SWIMMER COACH PARENT Motivation : Must be Swimmer led to be successful. Parent /Coach to only encourage Decisions : Swimmer to progress towards making all decisions ASAP Commitment : Swimmer must show willingness to commit, ahead of Coach and Parent Pressure : Should come from the Swimmer – Direct/Indirect pressure
