 I chose a tiger because a tiger is my favorite animal and I like their black and orange stripes.

 A tiger can live 20 to 26 years. A tiger can run up to 49 to 65 miles per hour.

 White tigers have blue eyes. Male tigers can be 8 to 19 feet long. No two tigers have the same markings on their fur.

 A tiger eats little elephants and water hogs. They live in tropical forests and grass land. They feed on mammals. Most tigers live in Asia, China, Russia and Africa.

 Tigers stripes help them to be camouflage when hunting. Their fur helps them blend in the sun light.

 Girl tigers defend their territory. The male tiger can weigh up to 700 pounds. Tigers eye sight is six times better than humans.

 The tiger is getting shot by people. They are getting killed by large buffalo and elephants.

A Bengal tiger can eat 30 buffalo a year. Tiger cubs have white spots on the back of their ears.

 Tigers are the biggest of the cat family. The China tiger is almost extinct. Tiger are bought for pets.

 The tiger buries what is left of what it hunted and it comes back to it. Girl tigers can have two to six cubs. The cubs stay with their mom for two to three years.

 Tigers like to swim to cool off in streams and lakes. A tiger can jump 30 feet in one jump and can run at full speed in one second.
