101576: Primary Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.

Children should be able to participate in the PDHPE program on a daily basis. Depending on the day it can be for a soccer game or a lesson that involves the outdoors. Incorporating different ways of learning i.e. Behind a desk, in a group, sitting under a tree near the class will all help foster a deeper level of understanding. Getting children active is an difficult task in today's world. With so many different technologies available, our children are becoming less motivated to go outside for a play. This may be caused by many issues, I have highlighted a few: - Stems from a lack of attention from parents as they are often working long hours to provide for their children. - They have play stations, game boys, TV at their disposal. There is no longer a need to entertain themselves. - Stranger danger is highlighted more so in today's world. We once were able to go and play at the park with friends in our block. - Children are being brought up now more so than ever in flats that have no backyard. Green areas where children can play are slowly diminishing as high-rises are built.

30minutes of fun each day. Take your dog for a walk with a adult. Get involved with a local sporting club. Eating healthy foods will give you more energy to do things that interest you. Instead of driving to school take your bike or walk with a friend.
