Writing Portfolio Term

Letter of Introduction Dear Reader, Over the years I have written many letters, essays, personal naritives but I never really got the point of them. I always was positive that I wouldn’t be a writer when I grew up so I thought that I shouldn’t try. Over the last couple of months I have realized why they put use throw that hour of writing each day because they want us to grow in a all subjects and even if I didn’t turn out to be a writer when I grow up I will still use it in day to day life. I have also realized how much more fun writing is when someone’s not telling you what to do 24/7. You just get to let your creative jucies flow and not be held back by what your teachers want you to do. Sure you still do the actional Litary essay but over a your free! I think it really prepares you for seventh grade in a different way then you got when you where in fourth or third grade. Your Author,

Sample Comparison I have grown a lot in my writing in all areas wether orginization or convention. In the story I wrote Mathography as I read througth this piece I realized how boring and choppy my sentences were. When I compare it to the persuasive piece I wrote called 6th grade the plot and details seem so much interesting. The conventions have improved tromendecely because in Mathography you can tell many parts are missing. Orginization is much better the points that I encluded in 6th grade were all connecting in a good order. Over all when I look how far I have come in my writing I feel like I have made great strides into becoming a great writer.

Self Evaluation Date: Genre: Self Evaluation Definition: To show what you think you are good at Reflection: I was trying to show Mrs.Fischer what I thought I was good at in writing. Link:Self Evaluation Self Evaluation
