6. The first time I rode a roller coaster was one of my greatest memories. The previous times I went to six flags and I was always too scared to ride the roller coasters, so I always felt left out because I couldn’t ride them or even think about riding them without getting sick. Then one day I was at six flags with a couple friends and we were walking towards a roller coaster. They didn’t know about my fear of roller coaster and I wasn’t really prepared to tell them. We finally got to the line and it wasn’t as long as I hoped it would be, so I didn’t really have time to prepare for the ride. We were next to ride and I was very nervous. I didn’t really want ride but I didn’t want to look bad in front of my friends, but I manned up and got on. Now there was no way out. I looked around and saw everybody so excited to ride, but I wasn’t. I felt sick, like I wanted to throw up, but I didn’t I held it down. The next thing I knew the ride was started and I was scared out of my mind but I tried not to show it.

7. When the ride was over I felt so good about myself because I had conquered one of my greatest fears. I felt like I could take on anything and everything. After that I went on every ride and never felt left out again. I could finally ride without fear. This showed me that if I set my mind to something I could do it. Before I went on the ride I wasn’t really living life I was taking it safe, but that ride taught me to take full advantage of life, never take no for answer and never be satisfied. If I wouldn’t have got on the ride I still would be scared of roller coasters, and I probably would not be the person I am today. The ride taught me to take chances and never wonder “what if”, and that’s how I think everybody should live because if you don’t what’s the point of living? If nobody took chances the world would be really boring and nothing would ever happen.

8. If I didn’t take that ride I would have been left wondering “what if” and that’s something I never want to do. You can go through life the safe way which I don’t think is living at all or you can go through the life taking chances which I think is living, and you’re taking advantage of all the advantages that come up for you.
