The use of LED’s in exterior lighting applications can lead to significant energy savings, extremely long system life and improved quality of illumination. How does the wattage of the OLW fixture compare to HID? A lighting application layout using a program such as Visual® should be used to determine equivalents to other technologies, but a basic rule of thumb is provided below: OLW14 = 50-70W MH/HPS OLW14 = 42-65W TRT/DT What are the recommended mounting heights? It varies depending on your lighting application, but typical mounting is 10-15’. We do not recommend higher mounting heights because you may not get the light output needed for the application. Is the photocell standard? Yes, an MVOLT DTL photocell is standard and adjustable to on or off. What are the mounting options? Recessed, surface mount junction box or conduit.
