 one of eight Rhode Island districts that demonstrated statistically significant gains in reading from 2010 to 2011  demonstrated statistically significant gains in both reading and math from 2007 to 2011  one in ten districts that demonstrated a positive significant difference from the state average in writing at all three levels: elementary, middle, and high.
