There are five different groups of animals with vertebrates. These classifications are:  Mammals  Fish  Reptiles  Birds  Amphibians

The white lion has certain characteristics that makes it a mammal. White Lions are warm-blooded. White Lions have hair or fur. White Lions give birth to live young. White Lions feed their babies with mother’s milk. White Lions breathe through lungs.

Appearance White lions have lighter skin then tan lions. White lions have long necks and long tails. Females have coats. Tan lions have four types of teeth. The front pointy teeth are used to kill their prey.

H abitat White Lions live in Africa on grassy plains. The plains are called savannahs. White Lions live on grassy lands in India. They like this kind of habitat because it has lots of animals for them to eat. They live in places like North America and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

White Lions eats rhino, giraffes, water buck, zebras, and beetles. They eat stuff that they know won’t fight back. Lionesses do hunting alone. This is a picture of a lion killing a zebra. A male eats first. Finally the females and the cubs get to eat.

Lion’s enemies are people because people started moving in their habitat. A lot of people are taking their food and water. A lot of lions are dying. Lions are dying because of diseases.

I hope you leaned about lions. I hope when you go camping you help a lion’s life and when you go to the zoo you see a lion too. Conclusion
