Monthly Investigator Report How To Run & Download a Monthly Investigator report 1. Click ‘Monthly Investigator’ under ‘Project Reports’ 2. Project Name field – click in the Project Name field, select project to view by clicking down button and selecting your project or enter project number or name and select your project when it appears 3. Monthly Investigator report appears onscreen 4. To download report into Excel – scroll to the bottom of the page, click the ‘Download’ button. 5. The report will open in Excel. You can save a copy from there. Monthly Investigator Report purpose -For Grants / Research Services projects only -Shows: -Expenditure against budget for each Task (eg. D-CON) -Total expenditure against total budget -Grant duration & other project admin details 13/06/20163

Transactions report How To Run & Download a Transactions report 1.Click ‘Transaction Report’ under ‘Transaction Reports’ 2.Project Name field – click in the Project Name field, select project to view by clicking down button and selecting your project or enter project number or name and select your project when it appears 3.Report Periods From & To – click within the field and select the relevant periods from the drop down list. To return all transactions in the current financial year select ‘Aug’ in the From field and the current month in the To field. 4.Transactions report appears on screen – to scroll through multiple pages, click the ‘Next’ button, top right corner of the screen 5.To download report into Excel – scroll to the bottom of the page, click the ‘Download’ button. Click ‘Download All columns’ if wanted. 6.The report will open in Excel. You can save a copy from there. Transactions report purpose -For all projects -Shows: -All transactions charged to the project – expenses, purchases, salaries, studentships, etc 13/06/20164

Balances Report How To Run & Download a Balances report 1. Click ‘Project Balances’ under ‘Income & Expenditure’ 2. Project Name field – click in the Project Name field, select project to view by clicking down button and selecting your project or enter project number or name and select your project when it appears 3. Balances report appears onscreen – scroll to right to see balances 4. To download report into Excel – scroll to the bottom of the page, click the ‘Download’ button. 5. The report will open in Excel. You can save a copy from there. Balances Report purpose -For all projects: projects with discretionary, core, primary purpose awards (FIS general ledger) and grants -Shows: -Total expenditure for year to date -Total outstanding commitments -Total balance 13/06/20165
