Motivation Based on the need for mechanisms to assist in compliance with environmental laws. The PES enters as an assistance tool and to put it in practice, is necessary to better understand the ESS. Search the relationship between the services, checking the synergy to list the most relevant and thus assist in conservation objectives, restoration and public policy.

Objectives Identify and map ecosystem services in agricultural regions of Rio Claro and Limeira; Check the correspondences between ESS and land cover; Check synergy of ecosystem services with each other and list the most relevant found within the predetermined service package.

Material and methods Study area Source: GoogleMaps® (2015)

Material and methods Mapping land use and land cover Classes of land use Sugar cane, pasture, urban area, citrus, etc. Classification of land cover Based on different stages of the vegetation (Lei n de 22 de dezembro de 2006; Vedovato, 2013)

Material and Methods ESS- Bundle Index Tool developed by ECOBE University of Antwerp and Ghent University (Bélgica), in the project BELSPO EcoFresh. It is a mechanism to analyse the provision of multiple ESS through landscape and it demonstrates service bundles, grouping the ones that are together several times. (Jacobs et al., 2014)
