Login Instructions After logging in, you will see the Special Alert. The Alert is a countdown of how many days you have left to enroll in your benefits. Click “Begin”. By clicking the orange arrow you will go through the Overview screen (letter from the TCS HR Department), the Options screen (which has all your benefit options), and the final screen is Actions, where you will begin making your benefit elections. This Options screen is where you can review and compare your election options. Click on the plan(s) you would like to review. Once completed, click on the orange arrow or click on Actions to begin making your elections. Open Enrollment Click here to add new dependent data. Click here to edit dependent data or add school info. Before making elections, verify your personal data, your dependent data and you may also add any dependents, if you need to. You will need to verify or enter your dependent SSN’s. You will need to add dependent info in order to elect dependent coverage. Please note the NEW Dependent Medical Eligibility for those over age 26. If you wish to enroll your Dependent Child over the age of 23 in Dental, you must flag them as full time students. In order to do this, click Edit next to their name. Under Additional Information, select “This is an adult dependent child and is a full-time student.” Once all information is added, click Continue and begin to make your elections.

Open Enrollment Waiver Incentive: If you have Spouse and/or Family, but only wish to enroll in EE Coverage or waive Medical, select Employee Coverage or Medical Waiver. You will then verify your incentive amount on the following pages. To enroll your dependents, click on the appropriate dependents that you wish to be covered on each benefit plan. This includes medical and dental. If a dependent is not to be enrolled in the plan you are electing, you must unclick the check by their name. Once you have verified your information and entered your dependents, click Continue at the bottom of the page. You are now ready to select your benefits. Locate the plan you would like to choose, and then click the circle next to the coverage level you need and click Submit. Please note that you may only select the EE plus Spouse, EE plus Child(ren) or Family coverage if you have added your Spouse and/or Child(ren) as dependents on the previous screen! Select the appropriate Waiver Incentive option if applicable. This button serves as your electronic signature and confirmation that you understand the Waive Incentive Program. If you elect the High Deductible Health Plan, you are eligible to contribute to an HSA. Your current election will be displayed but you may make changes now if you would like. You can use the attached calculator to determine your monthly amount, (deducted from 24 pay periods). If you are 55 or older, you may elect an additional $1,000 as catch up. If you are enrolled in a Medical Reimbursement Flexible Spending account with American Fidelity, your amount will be listed. You will need to contact American Fidelity if you need to make any changes. You will then select Dental the same way you elected Medical Insurance. Once complete click Continue/Submit.

Open Enrollment In the case of group life and voluntary life, you must enter the beneficiary information. For voluntary spouse life and voluntary dependent life (if applicable) you are the beneficiary since you are the policy holder. Primary beneficiaries must equal 100%. If any changes are needed, you may do so year round. To add a beneficiary, click the +Add Beneficiaries link and complete the applicable information. Click Continue at the bottom of the page. Voluntary Unum benefits are paid 100% by the you as the employee. This is in addition to the Group Benefit provided by Troy City Schools. If you elect to enroll or increase the amount of coverage for Voluntary Employee Life or Voluntary Spouse Life over the Guarantee Issue amount ($150,000), you will need to complete the Evidence of Insurability form and submit to UNUM. Click here for the Evidence of Insurability form. Your current coverage for Voluntary Life Insurance will be displayed. If you would like to make any changes, you may do so at this time. Select the desired coverage level from the drop down menu. Your coverage amount will pend until you are approved by UNUM. If you enrolled in any American Fidelity Benefits with a representative, you will see your Pre-Tax elections displayed. On the following page, you will see your Post Tax contributions displayed. If you would like to make any changes, you must contact American Fidelity. Click Submit on the bottom of each page to continue.

Review the confirmation and ensure that under medical and dental the appropriate dependent(s) show coverage. If you wish to make any edits or changes, you may click on the appropriate benefit and make those changes. Be sure to click Submit if any changes are made. Be sure to go back to Almost Done! Screen. After you have reviewed your final elections, click Complete Enrollment. If you have reviewed your confirmation statement and clicked Complete Enrollment your enrollment is now complete. At this time you can print your confirmation statement for your records. Click Close Window to log out of the system. Print Final Confirmation Here Open Enrollment
