1. Here is the login page for ordering your criminal background checks. Please note that you must use Internet Explorer for this program. Step 1: Click here to login:

2. When you click on the login link, this box will open: Step 2a: Type in your username here Step 2b: Type in your password here Step 2c: Click on this Login button:

3. Once you have logged in correctly, you will see this welcome screen:

4. To place an order, you will move your mouse over to “Place Orders” and then you will select “Web Order”: Step 3: Select Web Order

5. Once you choose Web Order, you will get this screen. Click on the drop down arrow:

6. Choose the “Students in Service” Account: Step 4, Choose “Students in Service”

7. Click “Next”

8. Complete the information on your potential new member: Step 5a: Complete Name and Address information. Ignore the “Position Applied For” box. Step 5b: Click on this “Next” button:

9. You only have one option…that is to choose the SIS Package:

10. Once you have chosen the “SIS Pkg”, click “Next” on the bottom of the screen. Step 6b: Click on this “Next” button: Step 6a: Select “SIS Pkg”:

11. You will ignore the options on this page and the only thing you will do is click “Next” on the bottom of the screen.

12. Step 7a: SSN and DOB information. Ignore the “Driver’s License” box. Step 7b: Click on this “Next” button: Here you will enter the Social Security Number and the Date of Birth for your Potential new member:

13. You will ignore the options on this page (they are “greyed out” so you cannot choose them) and the only thing you will do is click “Next” on the bottom of the screen.

14. Here you will select “ESS Chooses appropriate search location”. Step 8a: Select “ESS Chooses”: Step 8b: Click on this “Next” button:

15. You will ignore the options on this page and the only thing you will do is click “Next” on the bottom of the screen.

16. Please put in the name or abbreviation of your campus here: Step 9a: Fill in both boxes with your campus name: Step 9b: Click on this “Next” button:

17. Step 10a: Choose Option 3 “No Documentation Required”: Step 10b: Click on this “Next” button: There will never be any required documentation, so please select the radio button next to option 3.

18. One Final Step….click on “Submit Web Order” and you will have completed the criminal record check for your potential new member! Step 11: Click on this “Submit” button:

19. This is your order confirmation email. You will receive another email, once the order has been completed. Once the order is complete, log in to the IRAS page, and print out the completed background check for the member’s file. Remember: You must have the completed background check file, before the student can be enrolled into the SIS Program.
