Aim of the Programme Train the next generation of clinician scientists in Experimental Medicine. Central theme - application of clinical imaging to the evaluation of novel medical interventions in humans.

Aim of the Programme The research will be based in a variety of medical disciplines including: –Neurology –Oncology –Cardiovascular –Metabolic disease –Inflammation

Aim of the Programme Projects : –innovative characterisation of disease phenotypes –validation of potential new drug targets –development of biomarkers and early proof- of-concept drug studies

How does the scheme work ? 4 new Clinical PhD Fellowships per year funded jointly by the Wellcome Trust, GlaxoSmithkline (GSK) and Imperial. Fellowships embedded in the Wellcome Trust PhD Programme and part of an integrated programme of training in Translational Medicine.
